2004-10-14 Tonight I saw a heron standing all alone in the river at night with the rain coming down hard... The surface of the water was blurred with the spray of the water drops... the heron was sitting there like a majestic statute... it's head kept tight against the body...

2004-10-13 ...I had my car burglarized last night.. the more important thing is I saw a Mink foraging for food in the mighty Kish this morning. It was still rather dark out.. the sun was rising and the mink was splashing around on the rocks. If there is reincarnation I would like to come back as either an Otter or a Mink.
