2006-12-01Let it snow. Let it snow! Let it snow! My guess is we have a foot of snow on the ground. Getting ready to go out and shovel to my hearts content. I've posted some videos from the trip my cousin and I took to Isle Royal. Take a look on the pic page.
2006-11-15Had a blast with my Grandpa the other day. I was digging some Mullberry trees out of the side yard. It was a bit cold so Grampa was inside. He was watching me out of the living room window with his face pressed against the glass through the curtains. I saw him standing there smiling at me. So I pressed my head against the glass across from his and said "How much is that doggie in the window?" My grandpa looked confused and said "What?!", I yelled "How much is that doggie in the window?", He said again "what?!?" I yelled even louder, same thing. I walk around to the front door. Grandpa opens it and I yell. "How much is that doggie in the window?" My granpda still can't hear me and says "Try it again!?", So I scream "How much is that doggie in the window!" He kinda started and stepped back because I was so loud. He had this blank expression and then replied "The one with the waggly tail?" I have a "HA! and a big cavernous roar of a laugh, he giggled and closed the door. That's a good grandpa!
2006-03-19Been a while since I’ve posted. I saw a cool bird today out in the farm fields on the way back home. It was sitting next to a robin, about 1/3 larger than the robin with grey wings and a yellow chest, slightly blue head. I pulled over and watched it for about 10 minutes. It sat and talked with the robin for a while then got annoyed that I was watching. The minks are back in the mighty Kishwaukee river. I’ve seen them a few times on the walk to work. Beyond that, I got the water fall working again in the Koi pond. Now I can hear the burbling of water from my computer room windows, sweeeeeet!

2004-10-14 Tonight I saw a heron standing all alone in the river at night with the rain coming down hard... The surface of the water was blurred with the spray of the water drops... the heron was sitting there like a majestic statute... it's head kept tight against the body...
2004-10-13 ...I had my car burglarized last night.. the more important thing is I saw a Mink foraging for food in the mighty Kish this morning. It was still rather dark out.. the sun was rising and the mink was splashing around on the rocks. If there is reincarnation I would like to come back as either an Otter or a Mink.
2004-10-13 Whoa... That is all I have to say is Whoa... when life gives you lemons... you sit there with a very sour and puckered face...
2004-04-13 I found out that I’m an “ENFJ”. Can you believe it? All these years I thought I was an ESTJ and it turns out that I’m an ENFJ. Although digging a little deeper into it, I think I may truly be an INFJ. Only my J was a definitive J. Everything else was around the 55% mark. For those of you who are wondering what I’m talking about. I recently took the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. I thought that presenter should have had a crystal ball and a gypsy outfit when she told me the results. Google ENFJ and see what you come up with. Interesting. On another note, I added a link to the picture section of the site. Enjoy.
